Thomas Jefferson and Jerry Garcia are grateful to be dead. How could anybody on this side of the veil of tears really want or allow a chip implant? ReplyVeriChip's IPO: Losses Ahead for New Implant System [view article]
and for the record, my entire article is far from false and made of lies. CHIP has a business plan that will not work. It really is that simple. Frankly I don't have the power or the inclination to manipulate stocks. You're giving me far, far too much credit there. I've not had a position in Verichip nor ADSX and I've no plans on ever having one long or short. I will state emphatically this CHIP ipo is one of the worst I've seen since Vonage, which I also panned.Good luck to you. You should be careful with your accusations and threats however. Reply

Marc, adsx comment in piece is a typo...should read CHIP had under $30 million in revenues. My aplogies there. you may want to dig into 2006 compensation. you listed 2005, which again is pretty darned steep for such a lousy operation as CHIP --- 2006's compensation for making the switch from ADSX to CHIP is beyond outrageous.I've no position in CHIP long or short. CHIP is one of the worst ipos I've seen. They've a faulty business plan and they seem intent on throwing lots of money at that business plan.
I call 'em like I see 'em and CHIP's implantable business segment is DOA. first of all without 3rd party payer reimbursement, the business plan itself is doomed regardless of anything else.
they've two decent business lines,,,,however the seem set on spending heavily on this implantable chip segment, which means steep losses going forward. Reply

If Mr Bill Simpson wants to play the market analyst on Verichip or ADSX maybe he should start disclosing REAL fact and not phony numbers.Let's start with true numbers Mr Simpson:
You wrote: "ADSX 2006 revenues were a little under $30 million"
Well check again, ADSX generates $130 million in revenues !!!
You wrote:
"Total 2006 compensation for Mr. Silverman was approximately $4.7 million."
Again, disclose real facts. Here is Mr Silverman real package. Far from $4.7 million.
Cash Compensation (FY December 2005)
Salary $363,000
Bonus $200,000
Latest FY other short-term comp. $49,560
Latest FY other long-term comp. $380,027
Total $992,587
Now, Mr Bill Simpson, either you don't know how to read numbers (I doubt it) or you just want to manipulate the stock with false information. Are you shorting the stock by any chance? If yes, I would not be surprised, but be careful it's a very dangerous game with a stock like ADSX or CHIP... Reply
